For our client Ebbu LLC, a leading Cannabis IP development company, we advised on, and negotiated, a complex set of transactions with a Canadian Cannabis start up, involving IP licensing, investment and a joint venture. This provided significant validation of Ebbu’s technology and vision, and contributed to Ebbu’s acquisition 8 months later by Canopy Growth for CDN$429 million in November 2018.
